Whelp Watch

I'll do my best to help, and hope others will too.

I found streaming to the Web was not as hard as I had imagined. I bought a webcam, and was online in minutes. However, the first host I used (free host) hosted porn cams too, and I just couldn't have that with my family oriented dog site. I then went to Camstreams http://www.camstreams.com, and have been happy with the ease of use there. The only issue I had (not a big deal), is that my IP address is variable, and I have to update the IP on the user admin page every time I log on. Not hard at all. The stream there is bandwidth limited. Patrick will increase your bandwidth, but only when you've exceeded what he typically starts you with (about seven viewers). That's a real rub, when you're whelping a bitch, and 100 people want to watch, and you've got seven on, none are your puppy buyers, and Patrick, being in the UK is in bed asleep. :-/ Hey, you get what you pay for, right? It is a free service, and it's all good.

Then there is Mare Stare. They'll host your stream for a fee, and the bandwidth is unlimited!. Not only will they host it, they'll do nearly all the work setting you up! The fee, yearly, is not bad at all, considering they host the stream and set the thing up for you, and everyone who wants to can watch, because your bandwidth isn't limited. http://www.marestare.com !!! TRY IT! This is the best example of getting what you paid for!

Members of Whelp Watch can post a link to businesses not their own, if it will help the members, and it is not obvious that you're in league with that business. Be sure to say how they helped you stream your images for your animals. You may not reference your *own* business.

If you see me link to a business, It will be because they've done Whelp Watch a favor, and I am sure they'll be some help Whelp Watch members.

I'm sorry that one member did not read the rules regarding direct advertising. While I (with my member hat on, as lablady) did advertise a service, I do not own that business or work for it. She has also provided Whelp Watch with reciprocal exposure. Be aware, that we can happily link to any free streaming service (that does not directly link to porn sites), but paid services are going to have to work for a living, not hijack our threads. The post in question has been removed. It is assumed that everyone will read the rules, and direct advertising is prohibited. Note the gray button above this thread on the far right. It says "Rules".
