You probably already know this but just in case you don't...you need to remove all that bedding when puppies arrive and keep it to one thin layer of bedding or shredded newspaper. The pups can get lost and smothered under all that "cush". Good luck with Kittie, she is a darling little dachshund.

The vet said any day now. She lost part of a mucus plug, at least I think that's what it was. Temperature keeps jumping between 99.5 and 100. She has barely eaten anything today and yesterday.

They can drip mucus for quite awhile. Not eating can happen quite a bit the last week, but can be a sign that she's going to get the show on the road. She seems pretty relaxed tonight.
