Humm it is now 12 am here. I do not think she is going to have a puppy for me in the next 30 mins. All I ask is for 1 puppy before I go to bed. LOL. *Sigh*

Trying to stay up a bit longer, though limited as I can feel eyes glazing and crossing sweet Sparkle.

Also wondering if Ms Aboe remembers shes in chat window with me hehehe

Another thought occurred to me, do you clip the tummy Lablady to keep clean for pups to nurse? or do dogs lose some coat down there? Her tummy reminds me a bit of my Missy cat with her allergies. Anyway me thinks be off for the night, sweet puppy breath dreams everyone

They naturally lose hair around their mammary glands. Some more than others. She takes after her mother, who always lost a *LOT* of hair.

She's in labor, but it's early labor. Just like with humans, this can go on for a long long time.

3:16am ... She's more desperate to get out now. She let me sleep an hour, and work me with a bark to get outside to potty. She is more interested in digging than really having to potty.

All pretty typical. We'll definitely have puppies today sometime.

Thanks for calling me "blacklabs", I woudn't have realized.

So... she's still piddling along. Digging, sleeping, digging, panting... sleeping. I was up all night, and suspect I will be up all day.

Contractions getting increasingly harder. No discharge (a green discharge is bad), does have milk, no pushing. ...we wait, she works.
